Game Art
Bachelor's Degree – Campus and Online
This degree program focuses on the fundamentals of interactive graphics development – including character creation, environment and prop creation, the game production pipeline, in-game effects, and animation.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
In this course, students begin with preproduction of a character, developing concept art and character sheets.
The Compositing Fundamentals Course focuses on the seamless integration of computer-generated elements with real-world, live-action video footage.
The Motion Capture Course teaches students techniques to digitize motion, edit sequences, and develop an understanding of simulated motion.
The Level Assembly and Lighting Course continues to expand students’ understanding of game requirements with a focus on constructing a playable level.

Game Business & Esports

Students learn how to play a key role in the business side of gaming and esports, including team and performance management, developing revenue streams, and building relationships with the gaming community.

Game Design
Bachelor's Degree – Campus and Online
Students learn production processes used by top studios to design and produce best-selling games while also honing their skills by studying the building blocks of narrative design.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Game Mechanics Course explores the theories and principles employed in game rule-based systems. Students will learn how pacing and thematic structures incorporate conflict resolution and generate a plausible challenge and reward system.
The Game History Course examines the history of game development, the changes in game systems, and the evolution of genres and interactivity elements.
The Storytelling for Games Course introduces students to the challenges and opportunities of writing stories for the game industry, from character and world development to industry conventions and documentation.

Game Development
Bachelor's Degree – Campus and Online
In this program, students master the technology and tools necessary to develop and program single and multiplayer video games for gaming consoles, personal computers, and networks.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
Students learn techniques for designing intelligent behaviors and creating lifelike behaviors in characters to be used in modern games in order to provide realism, and computer opponents that continue to challenge players even after repeated gameplay.
The Rules of the Game Course employs a heuristic process designed to help students identify and cultivate the enigmatic element of fun in games.
The Engine Development Course is an introduction to the use of a pre-existing game engine and the development of supplementary components.
