Music Production
Bachelor's Degree – Campus and Online
In this program, students develop an understanding of contemporary music hardware and software technology by creating their own songs, scores, and soundtracks.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Musical Arrangement course addresses instrumentation and arranging techniques. This course focuses on developing an understanding of the nature and limitations of acoustic and electronic instruments, as well as effective formulaic techniques for successful arrangement.
The Audio Postproduction course provides students with an overview of production sound and audio postproduction sound design for film and television.
The Music Copyright and Publishing course teaches students how to protect their creative works and provides an overview of the business mechanisms that can affect the use of their songs and those of their clients.

Recording Arts
Bachelor's Degree - Campus
Students get the opportunity to experience the different facets of the industry, as they develop the skills they need to get their hands on the controls in one of our industry-standard recording facilities.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Audio Workstations course explores the digital audio workstation environment through an overview of digital audio concepts and practices.
The Audio Postproduction course provides students with an overview of production sound and audio postproduction sound design for film and television.
The Session Recording course walks students through the theory, philosophy, and practice of contemporary music production in a world-class studio facility.

Music Business
Bachelor's Degree – Campus and Online
In this degree, you'll develop skills that extend beyond the recording industry into the realms of film, television, video games, and sports. From marketing and publishing to artist management and retail, you'll learn to be an effective player in the music business.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Artist Management course explores the career path of the manager. This position plays a significant role in the entertainment business community and in the career of the artist or band.
The Music Business Models course provides students with an overview of music business corporate structure and the support companies that assist in the development, distribution, and sale of music. The course also covers management configuration for each type of entity, from the organizational structure to the specific job responsibilities of various positions within these companies.
The Music Copyright and Publishing course teaches students how to protect their creative works and provides an overview of the business mechanisms that can affect the use of their songs and those of their clients. Along with the global topics of copyright and music publishing, the course also covers the history of the music-publishing industry, royalties, the songwriter’s contract, publishing options, and an overview of publishing companies.

Show Production

If you’ve dreamed of a career in live event production, Full Sail’s Show Production bachelor’s program will arm you with practical skills to take any performance to the next level. What is show production? From live sound and lighting to corporate presentations, you’ll build foundations in a wide array of audio and visual applications, and enter the industry with a deep understanding of what moves an audience.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Show Production Systems course covers intermediate technical concepts as well as the skills required of today’s live event–production teams.
In the Audio and Visual Technologies course, students will be introduced to the rapidly growing field of audio and visual technologies for the live-production field. This course is dedicated to building confidence in the area of multimedia conference meetings and corporate presentation skills.
The Concert Media Design course teaches students visual media server concepts, integration, programming, and operation for live productions. The course covers media servers, technical systems interface, and content development.
