In Full Sail’s Computer Science program, you’ll explore the different ways that humans interact with technology to glean a practical understanding of how software affects our everyday lives. You’ll build foundations in the design, development, and implementation of software-based solutions for business, entertainment, and consumer markets. Project and portfolio courses integrated throughout the program provide you with relevant learning opportunities, and career development modules help you build professional skills along the way.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
Students will be working inside a prebuilt software solution wherein they will find and fix various kinds of software bugs, add new features to the software, and track the changes made by using version-control tools.
Students will learn how to utilize hardware and software tools for digital system analysis and synthesis.

Cybersecurity

In Full Sail's Cybersecurity program, you'll gain a foundational understanding of information security standards and the evolving landscape of potential hazards. You'll explore security planning, implementation and system life cycles, and you'll learn how to identify threats, respond to incidents, and protect information assets.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
Students will learn how to secure and validate networks against threats and attacks, identify and respond to instances of malicious network access, and operate the tools and software used to maintain network integrity.
Students will examine the challenges and professional workflows that each requires to successfully safeguard data from malicious sources, respond to threats, and recover from disasters.

Information Technology

The goal of Full Sail's Information Technology program is to prepare you for this field by developing your ability to virtualize information via distributed networks and the cloud. Gain a foundational understanding of virtualizing systems, networks, and storage, and understand how to create software-defined data centers that leverage this technology.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
Students will learn how to identify local- and wide-area networks and their specific standards as well as how Internet data is delivered.
Students will apply the virtualization, networking, storage, and scripting skills they have gained using proprietary and open-source cloud software.

Interactive Technology - Game Design Concentration

The Interactive Technology program with a concentration in Game Design is designed for students to enhance their ability to work in a game studio environment. This concentration consists of high-level game design and production courses that will take you deep into the game development pipeline.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
In this course, students learn how pacing and thematic structures incorporate conflict resolution and generate a plausible challenge and reward system.
Students learn how to use level-design and gameplay-design fundamentals to create levels that capitalize on the strengths of their own designs while also learning about communicating to the player through a user interface.

Simulation & Visualization
Campus
Full Sail’s Simulation & Visualization program equips you with the programming and critical-thinking skills needed to study and design virtual systems. You’ll develop your tech savvy through hands-on experience, in order to keep pace with an ever evolving industry.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
Students will study the incorporation of current consumer-grade equipment and peripherals as well as the development of new devices.
In this course, students will learn techniques for designing and creating lifelike and intelligent behaviors in characters.

Web Development

Full Sail University’s Web Development program is designed to provide the focused knowledge and understanding needed to integrate and deploy modern websites and web applications. You’ll use industry-standard tools, including modern client-side and server-side languages, database systems, and frameworks used in modern web stacks.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
Students will create web solutions utilizing cloud-native application development resources, and how to integrate these third-party services within their own custom code.
Students will integrate external authentication sources and single sign-on providers into an existing application. Factors such as data retention, user data privacy, data localization, and regulatory requirements will be investigated, and how those factors influence application design and deployment strategies.

User Experience
