Creative Writing
Bachelor's Degree – Campus and Online
In this program, students hone their writing skills through a variety of exercises, assignments, and projects that prepare them to meet the needs of an industry that is powered by creative visionaries.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Literary Techniques and Story Development Course provides a broad spectrum and intensive study of authorial choices and literary techniques that bring meaning and direction to stories.
The Visual Thinking and Writing Course introduces students to the creative structure of the visual medium by teaching the building blocks of visual storytelling.
The Publishing and Distribution Course provides an overview of the publishing industry from its inception on stone tablets to mobile media storytelling platforms.

Media Communications
Bachelor's Degree – Campus and Online
Students build skills in written and verbal communication and learn how to navigate current and emerging channels, such as Facebook and Twitter, on behalf of the brands and organizations they represent.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The Digital Video and Audio Production course covers the fundamental techniques and concepts of the preproduction and production processes. Students will explore the aesthetics of bringing video and audio together to create a dynamic presentation for a variety of media communications applications.
In the Graphic Design and Communications course, students will examine principles, concepts, and applications that will strengthen communication efforts within graphic-design projects. The course guides students through the process of creating, producing, and distributing compelling still and animated visual communication.
The Media Entrepreneurship course introduces students to the basics of entrepreneurship and the evolving business models for media. The course investigates general concepts of entrepreneurship and how digital technologies and the Internet are transforming media economics.
